Philip identified the long-term potential of surface refinishing well before it became mainstream.
In 1999–2000, he acquired the master franchise rights for Ireland and travelled to Arizona, USA, where he undertook advanced training in professional spray technologies and repair. On returning to Ireland, he went on to develop one of the country’s earliest nationwide franchise networks in bath and surface restoration and Repair
—introducing professional refinishing techniques that fundamentally reshaped consumer expectations and industry practice.
Philip has extensive technical expertise in coatings and repair systems, including water-based, solvent-based, lacquer, primer, and industrial coatings. His knowledge covers kitchen, furniture, architectural, automotive, and industrial applications, setting industry benchmarks for best practice.
Philip was an early adopter of social media in Ireland’s home-improvement sector, helping to establish kitchen respraying as a mainstream alternative to full replacement. His strategic branding of KitchenRespray.com® secured its position as the market leader.
Philip is dedicated to establishing the International Spray Painters Association (ISPA Global), uniting spray-painting professionals from domestic, commercial, automotive, furniture, and industrial sectors, and offering credible global recognition and accreditation.
